Dmitriy Valery Ivanovich, Senior Lecturer of the Department, has been working at the University since 1971. He lectures, teaches and conducts laboratory and practical classes on disciplines "Theory of probabilities and mathematical statistics", "Databases and knowledge", "Information systems", "Investigation of operations", "Systems and methods of forecasting", "Systems of technologies", " «Data and knowledge analysis», «Intellectual data analysis», «Simulation of complex systems». Total experience of teaching - more than 35 years.

Direction of scientific work: system researches, modeling and automation of ore preparation processes in ore enrichment technologies using modern mathematical methods.

Published more than 60 printed works, participated in more than 30 conferences, has 28 author's certificates for inventions, 4 of which have been introduced, have been awarded the title "Inventor of the USSR" with the issuing breastplate.

He was the supervisor for the thesis preparation of more than 20 students who received grades "4" and "5". The subject of diploma work according to the disciplines being taught and scientific work. Students take part in conferences and write articles on topics of theses.
